Beloved Friend, I just had to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate you. Amidst all the craziness of life, you're a shining star and thinking about you brightens up my day.If this letter and invitation has come to you, you are someone that I consider very precious, near and dear to my heart. I miss you! Let's gather. Let's celebrate life through our ups and downs.
Over the last few years, I have needed to take some time to deeply heal, clean my spirit and be renewed so that David and I have a healthy foundation to build a new life upon. For the last few weeks, I've been in prayer about the tricky art of moving on from people and places that mean the world to us. It's like saying goodbye to a slice of our heart, and boy, can it be a tough nut to crack! Have you been through something similar? I've been taking inventory of all these emotions and working on any patterns that had definitely needed some tweaking.
Wave Goodbye to Old Tools: A Reminder to Forgive and Progress Things have changed, let's see through the surface. Influencers on social media love to preach about ditching people from our lives based on their actions. But, hold up! This practice can be harmful, painting people as 'bad,' 'wrong,' or 'evil.' It's time to hit pause on this judgmental thinking. After all, deep down, we're all good people trying our hardest, and there's always room for evolution.
Sure, it's easy to wave the goodbye flag and run for the hills, when people make mistakes, but that just fuels the flames of division. So, let's be the change we crave and rise to the challenge of growth and compassion, even when things get rocky on the road of life!
Of course, there will be moments when parting ways is the right call. Before we shut the door for good, let’s talk, giving the benefit of the doubt and maturity a chance. It can lead to the most beautiful transformations. Who knows what we might learn and how much stronger we could become? Taking a breath and reflecting; it's often the key to unlocking the next stage of our journey. So, if I've ever been a thorn in your side or caused hurt, let's make amends. We've all grown and changed since then, so let's embrace the new and move forward with grace, open hearts and minds. Let's build a world filled with tolerance, kindness, and sovereignty. Here's to new beginnings and leaving behind the things that no longer serve us.
During a conversation with a close friend, we delved into the topic of where we mutually align. "Willing the good of the beloved" which is about truly wanting the best for others. We both expressed our belief in this concept, but also acknowledged that not everyone shares this sentiment or chooses to align with action. Unfortunately, there are those who get a kick out of spreading rumors, focusing on how someone did them wrong, harboring resentment and desire to see others fail rather than building up their own life and refining their ways. One way this is evidenced by is their tendency to gossip, throw shade, belittle, or project their insecurities. It's disheartening to see how such negative behavior can manifest in different ways, ultimately leading to the tearing down of others.
Taking a Stand for Your Convictions When it comes to making choices, I prefer to champion my beliefs rather than wage war against those that don't see eye to eye with me. Let's be honest, it isn't easy to rise above. It can be a struggle to forgive, shift our mindset, and walk the talk. But, the real deal is realizing that we always have a choice and there’s always higher and more goodness available. When we commit to wanting good for others, we become elevated in our own right. Even if others don’t rise, raising standards on holding a respectful etiquette feels good and encourages progressive evolution.
So, if you align with “willing the good of the beloved” upon me and others, then I wholeheartedly welcome you with open arms. But if not, that's okay too. Please respect my boundaries and refrain from considering the possibility of reigniting any past relationship between us. I’m interested in building a world filled with tolerance, kindness, and sovereignty with others that have mutual desires.
A Heartfelt Invitation to Connect
Regardless, you have been an incredible person in my life, I’m choosing to hold you in this light. We’ve all changed in many ways and I'm thrilled to finally meet the new version of the incredible person you've become since we’ve last spent time together. Life is a rollercoaster, but we can always find ways to ride it out. Sure, we've all been there, blurting out words we wish we could take back, or perhaps staying quiet when we should have spoken up. But there are also many things we could say, like expressing gratitude, showing care, and owning up to our mistakes. Time is short and I don’t want to miss this opportunity to tell you I care about you and you are special to me. You, my friend, light up the world with your presence. Your brilliance is inspiring, and I'm grateful for everything you are. We've all had our share of ups and downs, moments of triumph and heartache.
Life can sometimes lead us astray, and we encounter moments of laughter and tears. We share stories that either exhaust or empower us. Through it all, we can learn and grow, evolve and transform, forgive and refine. We make mistakes, but we can choose to get back up and move forward creating an opportunity for a "do over". We love, forget, remember, and experience life's adventures. Let's CELEBRATE that we’ve made it thus far by showering ourselves with some much-needed love and appreciation, putting our mental and physical health front and center. We'll toss out any toxic habits and chart our course with sacred alignment, surrendering our emotional baggage with grace and grit. Age is just a number, and it's never too late to start. So let's release the old world and align with our divinity with warm hearts and open minds, spreading love wherever we go! We're here, brought together for a divine reason. Let's dance, laugh, and celebrate this wild ride called life together!
Here's to new beginnings and leaving behind the things that no longer serve us and an invitation.
Sharing Sacred Items with our Beloved Community I recently considered selling my collection of sacred items on Marketplace to provide a greater financial future for myself and my little, David. However, after much prayer, I've had a change of heart on how to surrender. Before selling these treasures on Marketplace, I want to share them with our community that might value them as much as I do. Though I have priced each item, I have chosen to accept donations based on their perceived value. You can choose an item that speaks to you at the pre-party and make a donation accordingly.
I look forward to our re-union and to celebrating what is up next for us.
Your treasure is where your heart is and in there,
